We are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for a commercially minded and purpose-driven Business Development Project Officer to support the delivery of our Growth Strategy and help shape the future of our services.

 

About the Role
This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of strategy, partnerships and market insight. You’ll work closely with the Head of Partnerships and Growth to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and support initiatives that drive sustainable growth and better outcomes for the people we support. You’ll play a key role in understanding where we are today, and where we should go next.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Analyse market trends, community needs, and customer behaviour to inform growth initiatives.
  • Conduct sector and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning.
  • Research policy, best practice and emerging trends across the NDIS and human services sector.
  • Support feasibility studies and business cases for new growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design of community development and sales approaches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Support partnership development, tenders and grant submissions including financial modelling.
  • Work collaboratively with Brand and Engagement on B2B marketing and events.
  • Manage and strengthen existing partnerships that support our growth and purpose.

 

About you:

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Extensive experience using MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written capability.
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in NDIS, health or human services is highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Social Policy or similar is desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
