In this Service Manager role, you will support this vision by connecting with people. You will lead a team of Support Workers and oversee the day-to-day operations of our 3 SIL services in Cranbourne and Narre Warren. Along with this you will work alongside our clients, families, external stakeholders while aligning with our vision to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
What you will do
- Foster and develop capable teams to ensure exceptional services are provided to clients, families, and carers in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and practice standards.
- Lead and coach a team, providing them with the expertise and support needed to handle complex or unclear issues and ethical challenges, while following policies and procedures.
- Ensure rosters are efficiently and compliantly produced, aligning with individual care plans and budgets.
- Proactively manage all incidents, accidents, hazards, complaints, and staff grievances in line with policies and procedures.
- Ensure client goal setting and reviews are undertaken in line with policy and procedures framework.
What you will bring
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications with relevant experience
- Recent successful experience providing high quality services to clients with complex care needs,
- Recent experience in successfully developing and building teams to deliver high quality and client-centric services,
- Highly effective and empathetic communication skills as you will be communicating with your team, client families and a large group of stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to develop, plan and implement Individual Plans
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and to work effectively under pressure
Additionally, you’ll need to hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, a ‘C’ class driver’s license, and an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
